Welcome to Our Blog!

Hi everyone! Welcome to our blog! We are so excited to share our love of reading with all of you. Posts will be going up every Thursday, with minor adjustments here and there if need be. To follow up on updates, check out our announcements page! We are completely new to blogging, so please bear with us as we try to figure out what the heck we’re doing. With that in mind, if you have any suggestions, please keep the comments kind and respectful, we’re trying our best :).

We hope that like the name of our blog (we put a lot of thought into it), READefineToday will help redefine what it means to be a reader in today’s generation. We hope that this blog will be a place of comfort and joy to teens who love to read, and to maybe inspire teens who don’t love reading as much to... well...love reading (or at least read more). What better way to make friends than obsessing over your favourite characters, and crying together when the author decides to kill them off? (Shhh, it’s okay, we’ve all been there more than we’d like to admit.)

This marks the start of what we hope will become a prosperous book blog. As to how well this goes, only time will tell (haha hopefully this all goes well). In all seriousness, we hope that one day in the future, we will be able to look back on this post to remember what it was like to be book-obsessed teenagers wanting to share their passion to the world.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to get this blog up and running. At the end of the day, we really are just some teenage girls who hope to brighten up your day with our love of reading.
