Tsurezure Children “shows us a series of 4-Koma manga depicting various scenarios of young love.” This manga ranges from high school students to teachers, every kind you can expect is drawn here. The story starts with Kanda, who’s invited Takase (the boy she likes) to confess. However, she’s too embarrassed to say it if Takase doesn’t like her... On the other hand, we have Minagawa, a class representation who likes Furuya. Although she’s confessed many times, the boy thinks she doesn’t take it seriously. And there we have another hilarious and cute love story between the class representation and a normal student. And this manga offers the reversed version too! Instead of the class rep., this character has advanced to the student council president! He’s trying to make a delinquent, Ryouko, to fall in love with him. If I have to cover every single story, it would take me ages!

Ayaka Kamine + Takeru Gouda

Kamine is in class 2-4 and a member of the Tea Ceremony Club. She has light navy hair tied one-sided to her right with a yellow hairband. Light turquoise eyes matched with a shy and timid personality. She has become more open-minded since she dates Takeru Gouda. (And she gets jealous easily!)

Takeru is in class 2-4 and the captain of the Volleyball Club. He is a tall boy with dark red-brown hair and very small pupils with bright orange eyes (and is said to have a very nice body). Takeru always has a stoic face and rarely shows any expressions, but he does get nervous when Kamine gets close to him. He’s quite inexperienced when it comes to romance and often misunderstands what his girlfriend wants.

Kamine confessed to Takeru by deliberately dropping her contact lens on the floor and asking him to help find it for her. He never expected her to say such things, but he did accept her feelings without further thinking. However, his dense judgments were what pushed Kamine to take the lead in this relationship. Their first kiss took place in a park after school. She kissed him for the very first time, yet she got too nervous and ended their precious first-time with a cough. Nevertheless, she smoothly wrapped off the awkwardness by lying on Takeru’s thighs. I have to say that she’s got quite the guts to do that on their first time. As I said before, she gets jealous easily. And there was this one time where she secretly sneaked to the boys’ dorm on a field trip. Taking on the risks of being discovered, she wanted a kiss from Takeru so bad that she couldn’t hold back (because she didn’t get to spend time with him!) That was such a scene she made!

Chizuru Takano + Takurou Sugawara

Takano is in class 2-4, a friend of Kamine and a member of the Wind Ensemble Club.

Chizuru is a little girl with long brown hair that she prefers to wear in twin tails and purple eyes. Chizuru is a person who can not convey or comprehend her feelings properly. While she was initially disinterested in dating and thought it would be a tiresome job for someone to date her, she later developed feelings for Takurou Sugawara and often found herself staring at him.

Takerou is in class 2-4 and a member of the soccer club, friends with Takeru. He has light red hair with dark blue eyes. He’s also a shy person who finds it hard to confess to Takano, and that’s the same for Takano too! That’s why they are not official until the end of the manga.

Takano initially thought of Takerou as a kind friend who always helps her with afterschool chores, and even walked her to the bus station. Although it’s quite obvious to the readers that he’s really into her, Takano is too dense to realize it! As she’s never been in love before, she thought she had a fever when she was actually getting red from constant thinking of Takerou. When both of them came to realize their feelings for each other, they just couldn’t find the courage to confess. However, their friends very much urged them that it’d successful and they even made time for them alone! Kana Iijima + Chiaki Uchimura

Kana and Chiaki are both in class 2-4. Kana has hip-length brown hair with red-brown eyes and bangs hanging over her forehead. Chiaki is a fun-loving and laid-back boy who loves cracking jokes. He is a little perverted and mischievous, which makes it difficult to say when he's serious at times. Chiaki, however, is genuinely an idealistic and open-minded person, and he loves Kana a lot. On the other hand, Kana has the characteristics of a classical tsundere who is argumentative and blunt, especially to Chiaki Uchimura (as she often hits him). Though she doesn't always act like that, she truly loves him.

Episode 3, when Kana and Chiaki Uchimura made their debut, Kana said that she and Chiaki had been dating for a year, but when she spoke to one of her classmates (Kazuko Hosokawa), she realized that she and Chiaki had done nothing like a real couple (just comedy bits really). Kana then decided to do something that would make their relationship progress. When she asked him if they could do stuff that couples do (kissing and hugging), she was shocked to hear that Chiaki didn’t know they were dating, that it was all a misunderstanding!
